Allies Network and Women Acting In Today’s Society (W.A.I.T.S) in collaboration with Birmingham Commonwealth Association and Birmingham City University will hold a one day conference on Exploring the Culture of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Domestic Abuse (DA) in the Black & Minority Ethnic Communities.

This conference will provide professionals with the opportunity to explore the challenges of FGM and DA, learn good practice on how to work with communities and hear experts’ perspectives on the importance of continuing professional development in the context of cultural awareness.
