Save the Date: Miroslav Volf is the Edward Cadbury Lecturer for 2019

By Virgil Vaduva at English WikipediaProfessor Miroslav Volf will present a series of public lectures 28-30 May at Birmingham University on the theme of ‘The Home of God’.

Volf currently serves as the Henry B. Wright Professor of Theology and Director of the Yale Centre for Faith and Culture at Yale University, and has been described as “one of the most celebrated theologians of our day.”

The Edward Cadbury Lectures are supported by an endowment from the Cadbury Family to the University of Birmingham for an annual series of lectures open to the public on the history, theology and culture of Christianity.

The first Cadbury Lectures were delivered in 1948 by the historian Arnold Toynbee, followed by a succession of eminent scholars from around the world.
