All across the country people are joining together to take part in the Great Get Together. This is a national street party being organised by the Jo Cox Foundation in honour of Jo Cox.
It is a chance to get together for street parties, picnics, sports days or community iftars; a chance for the biggest street part since the Jubilee to make a statement. There is more that unites us than divides us.
Jo Cox MP lived her life spreading her belief that we have more in common than divides us.
In that spirit, her family and friends are inviting people across the country to mark the anniversary of her murder by organising or attending a celebration in their community on 17-18 June.
