World Prayer Centre seeking volunteer prayer researchers

November 1st, 2017 World Prayer Centre seeking volunteer prayer researchers

World Prayer Centre is looking for two volunteers to join our team in Birmingham. We are looking for 4 – 6 days per month to help us as we expand our work. Both roles will focus on prayer research – helping inform and shape our prayer materials. They will find credible news sources and produce prayer guidelines. They will provide testimonies and reports on what God is doing, and identify resources we can use to inform our prayer (e.g. Youtube material). They will be IT literate, news aware, and analytical.

The International Prayer researcher will focus on global issues, identifying concerns and trends, and alerting us to emerging issues. This role includes monitoring the persecuted church.

The Birmingham Prayer researcher will have a Birmingham and Midlands focus identifying local news and issues. They will join our Birmingham watchers group identifying prayer priorities for the city. They will also strengthening our church links, monitoring church events and updates to shape our prayer for the city.

For more information on these roles please contact Steve Botham or Laurence Sharman on 0121 633 7393 or contact [email protected]
