Part-time Befriending Women’s Worker

Restore, a project of Birmingham Churches Together, (charity number 243931) is seeking a part-time Befriending Women’s Worker for 21 hours a week on a 12-month fixed term contract to assist with the one-to-one befriending project and support female refugees and asylum seekers and female volunteers. There will also be involvement in organising group social activities for women and occasionally for families. This role requires commitment to Restore, collaborative team work, the ability to juggle tasks and excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills. The start date would be in September 2021 on a date to be agreed.
The office base is in Balsall Heath, but all staff are currently working from home.
Salary: Based on NJC spinal point 19 pro rata: (full time equivalent £25,481 p.a. from 1 April 2020)
