Befriending Co-ordinator and Lead Women’s Befriending Worker

Restore, a project of Birmingham Churches Together, will soon be seeking a full-time Befriending Co-ordinator and Lead Women’s Befriending Worker to provide training to new volunteers, co-ordinate the application process, lead the one-to-one befriending work and support female refugees and asylum seekers. This is a big role requiring commitment to Restore, collaborative team work, the ability to juggle many tasks and excellent training, organisational, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills. (NB This post will be restricted to women applicants only and is exempt under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010)

Salary: Will be based on NJC spinal points 23 to 25: (£27,741 – £29,577 from 1 April 2020). The office base is in Balsall Heath but all staff are currently working from home.
