Theological Reading Group, Summer 2017

The group is to discuss “The Humility of God: a Franciscan Perspective” by Ilia Delio, published by Franciscan media, Cincinnati, Ohioin 2005.

Ilia looks at the theology of the humility of God in a world of evolution, suffering and plurality. She explores how the Franciscan view provides not only a hopeful way of living in relation to God in a world of change, but also a way of living a meaningful Christian life in a complex and often fragmented world.” She has lectured and written in Biology, Theology and Spirituality and is a a Roman Catholic Franciscan Sister.

The group is to meet from 12.30 to 13.30 on the following Wednesdays: May 17 and 31, June 7, 14, 21, 28

Venue: the TTS room of the Queen’s Foundation, Somerset Road, Birmingham B15 2QH.

Members may bring and eat their own packed lunches. All are welcome.
