BCM Needs your Harvest Donations

September 10th, 2019

Birmingham City Mission relies on donations of non-perishable food and other essential goods to keep the food bank at the Resource Centre stocked and providing parcels to those who need help.

Tins and packets of food from your Harvest festival or collection are much appreciated in their work with the homeless, elderly and others in need. See the Resource Centre page on the BCM website to find out more, including a shopping list of items they need.

Andy Morton, Resource Centre Assistant Manager, says:

“The people we are in touch with and who receive food parcels every month (averaging nearly 170) are among the most needy in the city. We need to put the message out clearly: even all the food stocking the shelves at Harvest will not see us through the year, so please keep the tins and packets coming in regularly. Thank you again.”
