Be part of Carol’s in the City

November 19th, 2012

Come and be part of this year’s unique Carols in the City on Saturday 15th December in the Cathedral Square.

Carol Service at 16:30.

Join the Rehearsals on Sunday 25th November & 9th December: 15:30 to 17:30 at Birmingham Christian Centre, Parade, Birmingham.

Parking available at the church and surrounding streets.

Building on the success of previous years, this year’s Carols in the City is on Saturday 15th December. As part of this, a massed choir is being formed which will lead the worship.

Our vision is that Christians from churches across Birmingham and of all ages will come together to form this choir as an expression of our unity and love for our Lord and this city.

Isaiah 12: 4 to 5 says, “Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.”

Let’s worship Emmanuel – God with us in Birmingham City Centre.

Some churches find it helpful to identify a choir link person to promote and encourage involvement – this might be the church leader, a worship leader or choir leader. If such a link person is identified please ask them to contact the Carols in the City choir coordinator on for rehearsal resources and further information.

Contact James Tomlinson the Carols in the City Choir Coordinator (or your churches choir link person, where applicable)
by email to register interest and for more information including links to music and MP3s of parts.
