Article from Jericho about their Construction and Electrical Services Social Enterprises

Jericho is a Christian charity that supports people with multiple disadvantages and complex needs which act as barriers to employment, training or social inclusion. We are the leading organisation offering supported employment to survivors of modern slavery in the UK. Jericho operates eight Social Enterprises across Birmingham, including Jericho Construction, which offers apprenticeships, work experience and volunteering placements.

Jericho Construction is one of the largest of Jericho’s Social Enterprises. We employ a large team of highly qualified construction professionals, skilled tradespeople and apprentices, all working with the sole aim of delivering high quality services at competitive prices, while still delivering great Social Value. All our work is undertaken strictly in accordance with Jericho’s ethical values, ensuring our customers receive an honest, straightforward service together with excellent value for money. We purchase materials from sustainable sources and actively promote good environmental stewardship.

Jericho Electrical Services offers a professional electrical service while delivering Social Value outcomes. We offer a professional electrical service including electrical conditioning and landlord certificates to ensure the safety of your building.  As all public buildings are required to have a condition report every 3 to 5 years, Jericho Electrical Services can ensure your lights stay on while changing the lives of those with barriers to employment and the disadvantaged.

Jericho Electrical Services can offer condition reports, rewiring and repairs, full installations and landlord certification. All our staff are qualified and registered, being NAPIT approved for both commercial and domestic work. All electrical inspections and testing, conforms to BS 7671 standard. For more information, visit our website at www.jericho.org.uk, or speak to our Senior Electrician, James Watkin on 07891 953 999 or at enquiries@jericho.org.uk.
