To help you engage with the UK General Election on 12 December 2019 Churches Together in Britain and Ireland have set up a website for the 2019 General Election

information and resources about local hustings.

Links to other Christian organisations including CAFOD, Christian Aid, Joint Public Issues Team and Quakers in Britain

 

Evangelical Alliance have a dedicated page for the General Election including a link to a blog on Faith, Hope and Love

 

In Birmingham, the World Prayer Centre’s House of Prayer have two prayer events focused on the election – praying for God’s will to be done, for peace in our nation and for people of integrity to elected, across all parties.

25th November from 10.30am to 3.00pm – our Watch and prayer event

• 12th December from 9.30am to 11.15am

Praying for Birmingham – World Prayer Centre’s House of Prayer intend to run more prayer events for Birmingham – to pray for God to move powerfully in our city.

They are starting during the General Election Campaign to pray for each constituency in the city, to pray for protection and pray for the good news of Jesus to bless our city this Christmas.
