The Annual General Meeting of the ‘Churches and Industry Group Birmingham-Solihull’ (CIGB) will take place via Zoom on Thursday 17 September, between 6.15pm and 8.00pm. Workplace chaplains, friends, supporters and those interested to know more about CIGB’s workplace chaplaincy work are welcome to attend.
The AGM will begin with Councillor Waseem Zaffar MBE, Birmingham City Council’s Cabinet Member for Transport and Environment, speaking and answering questions about the transformation of transport in the city. Transport has been a major place of employment and a key growth driver of the West Midlands economy. Issues to be addressed include how transport is working in the current Covid-19 situation, concerns about emissions and the changing patterns of the economy. There will be opportunity to put questions to the Councillor.
Following Councillor Zaffar’s input, the CIGB trustees will present the Annual Report and Finances, also bringing an update concerning CIGB’s Workplace Chaplaincy in the current context.
To register attendance at the online event, contact Peter Sellick, Development Director for CIGB, at THIS ADDRESS. To find out more about CIGB’s Workplace Chaplaincy with the Birmingham City Council, Jaguar Landrover, National Express, Solihull Town Centre and many more, click HERE.
