Facilities Assistant
An opportunity to join our Interserve National Office team based at St John’s House, the historic home of the ‘Call the Midwife’ sisters. Interserve is committed to working cross culturally amongst the peoples of Asia and the Arab World.
Working as part of our St John’s House (SJH) team, this Facilities Assistant role is key to ensuring that the whole of SJH is a welcoming place to guests, staff and residents and that all areas of hospitality are presenting an excellent service.
You will need to have:
Experience of working in a hospitality and housekeeping role or similar
A good eye for details and cleanliness
Experience of using everyday housekeeping tools and cleaning equipment.
A good level of physical fitness
You will need to
Be able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude to work
It would be desirable, but not essential for you to possess handy-person skills for light DIY type jobs around the site. Training on health and safety will be provided.
This role would suit a flexible person who can work 30 hours per week across Monday-Friday with some occasional evening and weekend working (time off in lieu given).
