Invitation to participate in Pray24Brum

For the ninth year, Pray24Brum provides an opportunity for individuals, groups and congregations to participate in 24 hours of prayer for Birmingham/Solihull during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

The 24 hours of prayer will be undertaken in relay by individuals, small groups, schools and congregations at a time – and in a style – suitable to them.

The prayer will take place between 7am and 8.00pm on Friday 20th January, and between 7am and 5.30pm on Saturday 23 January 2023. Some people will elect to pray in person at St Chad’s Cathedral, St Chad’s Queensway, Birmingham B4 6EU ; others will participate online.

Each hour is be led by a different church, group of churches or Christian organisation, inviting those present to share in something of their own style and tradition of prayer. Please do sign up to lead us in an hour of prayer and praise here at the heart of the city! We look forward to welcoming back friends who have been involved before, and newcomers who want to be part of the event this year.

The coordinating group have met and we will continue to circulate information and plans as they come to fruition.

We look forward to praying with you!
