New Salvation Army Commander

It has been announced that Major Adrian Allman, Corps Officer of the Birmingham Citadel, is to be the next Commander of the West Midlands Division of the Salvation Army. Adrian’s wife Clare, who leads the Birmingham Citadel alongside Adrian, will become Divisional Personnel Officer. Both appointments will take effect from 1 July 2024. The West Midlands District encompasses almost 40 corps situated from Leek in the north to Hereford in the south, and from Shrewsbury in the west to Coventry in the east. The Divisional Headquarters is at Unett Street North, Hockley.

Major Adrian and Captain Clare have been Corps Officers of the Birmingham Citadel, St Chad’s Queensway B4 6HH, since July 2016. The Citadel is a multi-generational and multi-cultural Church. Visit the Birmingham Salvation Army Citadel website HERE and Facebook page HERE.
