Pray24Brum:Thy Kingdom Come

In just two days’ time, Thursday 13 May, we will be marking Ascension Day. That day of celebration also heralds the beginning of the international, ecumenical ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ prayer season, during which Christians from many different traditions across the UK – and around the world – join together to pray that their friends, families, neighbours and communities will come to know the love of Jesus.

As part of the Thy Kingdom Come novena, individuals, small groups and congregations in Birmingham will take part in Pray24:Brum: Thy Kingdom Come, a virtual 24-hour prayer relay running from 9.00am on Friday 14 May until 9.00am on Saturday 15 May. Each person and group is being invited to pray in a way that works for them. We know that God hears heartfelt prayers, in whatever form they find expression and from whatever location they are made.

Some have simply indicated their commitment to pray during one of the 24 hours of the prayer relay. Others have set up a Zoom meeting and are welcoming anyone who wishes to join them during that hour. These are:
