Retreat in Daily Working Life

For the ninth year, Chaplaincy Plus is partnering with Manresa Link to offer the ‘Retreat in Daily Working Life.’ The course runs over six weeks between mid-September and early November. This year, the opening and closing meetings will take place online, with the choice to meet a prayer guide in person, online or by telephone in between.

The Retreat in Daily Working Life seems more relevant than ever, providing a framework which helps to keep a healthy sense of perspective amid the uncertainties of life and work. Some feel overwhelmed by work, while for others motivation is low and the threat of redundancy real.

The opening meeting will run from 5.30pm until 6.15pm on Monday 14 September via Zoom. The closing meeting takes place between 5.30pm and 6.15pm on Monday 2 November via Zoom. A £20 donation towards the work of Manresa Link (with a small additional sum to cover Eventbrite fees, taking the total to £22.15) is requested. In addition, ChaplaincyPlus will give opportunity to support its work, though worry about the cost of the course should not inhibit people from registering to participate. Find out more information HERE and book your place by Sunday 6 September at the latest via THIS LINK.
