Tax Justice Sunday, 14 June 2020

Sponsored by ‘Church Action for Tax Justice‘ (CATJ), Sunday 14 June is ‘Tax Justice Sunday.’ CATJ was established just over a year ago, with the aim of working towards a fairer and more effective tax system, where democratic governments set taxes to reflect the Common Good, and individuals and corporations each pay their share. The group is supported by a number of Christian Churches.

In readiness for Tax Justice Sunday, CATJ has produced a whole series of resources for use in church services. These include sermon outlines, notes on Biblical texts, prayers, an animated video and a complete church service video. Access the resources via THIS LINK.

At 6.30pm on Sunday evening, Selly Oak Methodist Church will broadcast a special service based on the theme of Tax Justice. The service will be aired via the church’s Facebook page HERE.
