Preparing for the 2022 Commonwealth Games
Preparations for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham – and beyond – have been going on for several years already….
The Saltmine Theatre Company is making an audio/picture presentation of the events of Holy Week freely available.
The professional presentation comes in three episodes, each of which are based on recordings/photography at the Birmingham Passion Play of Holy Week 2019. That unique, contemporary re-telling of the Easter story was performed live to over 3,000 people and processed through the heart of the city of Birmingham.
Episode 1, which documents the Last Supper and Jesus’ prayers in the Garden of Gethsemane, is now available via www.saltminetrust.org.uk/isolationresources. Episodes 2 and 3 will be available shortly.
