World Day of Prayer

The 2025 World Day of Prayer will be held on Friday 7 March. A number of locations in Staffordshire will hold an ecumenical service on that day. Chosen by the Christian women of the Cook Islands, the 2025 theme is ‘I made you wonderful.’ Read more about the World Day of Prayer HERE.

Birmingham and Solihull locations of ecumenical prayer services for the World Day of Prayer include:

Friday 7 March: A special service will be held at The Cotteridge Church, 24 Pershore Road South, Cotteridge, B30 3EJ, at 1.30pm. All welcome.

Friday 7th March: A special service will be held at St Nicolas, 81 The Green, King’s Norton, B38 8RU, at 7.30pm this evening. St Nicolas is relatively close to King’s Norton Railway Station, Bus Stops on the 18, 19, 45, 38 and 49 routes. There is on-street parking or pay-and-display at The Bull’s Head.

Friday 7th March: A special service will be held at Wylde Green United Reformed Church, 72 Britwell Road, Wylde Green B73 5SW, at 1.30pm. All welcome

Friday 7th March: A special service will take place at Shirley Baptist Church, Stratford Road, Shirley, B90 3BD, at 10.30am. All welcome.
