‘Fulfil’ youth event

Birmingham City Mission’s next ‘Fulfil‘ youth gathering will take place on Friday 21 November at Trinity@Birmingham, 150 Coventry Road, Small Heath B10 0SE, beginning at 7.30pm.

The aims of Fulfil are to bring young people from across the city to worship together, to see the big ‘Kingdom of God’ perspective, to hear God’s word and to grow in an understanding of the Gospel and its outworking in daily life.

The Fulfil gathering of 21 November will feature:

+ Kemi Naomi grew up in Birmingham and is a former Fulfil volunteer. She works in the corporate world and is a singer-songwriter. Kemi has recently released a single, ‘Sacrifice.’ She has a heart to inspire and encourage people to live lives of surrender and devotion to Christ and is a passionate communicator of God’s word to young people. Kemi has words of wisdom and truth to share. We are excited to have her lead us in song at Fulfil and are equally excited to see how her music ministry develops.

+ The BIMM Gospel Choir reached the final of Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year awards earlier this year. They are a ‘fresh, energetic’ group that brings a contemporary sound to traditional Gospel.

+ Lindford George is the Youth Pastor of Birmingham City Church. He was formerly a Youth Outreach Worker for Urban Devotion Birmingham. He has also served in ministry with New Testament Church of God churches. Lindford partners with BCM’s youth team in serving local secondary schools. He has a passion to share the gospel with young people and to bring them into the presence of God through prayer and the word.
