Methodist Youth President to visit Birmingham

Over the weekend of Friday 9 to Sunday 11 July, Methodist Youth President Phoebe Parkin will headline a weekend of events and activities for the children, young people and youth leaders of the Birmingham Methodist District. On the evening of Friday 9 July, there will be three online events, to include prayer, worship, a question-and-answer session and a quiz. On the afternoon and evening of Saturday 10 July, games, activities and a barbecue will take place at Stockland Green Methodist Church. On Sunday 11 July, an all-age worship service will take place at Longbridge Methodist Church, to be followed by lunch and workshops. The Methodist Youth President works full-time for one year to serve the children and young people of the Methodist Church in Britain, making their voices heard and helping them to get more involved in every aspect of Church life.
