Prayer Spaces in Schools: Sticky Notes Tour

Mike Down, from Birmingham Schools Connection shares:

Prayer Spaces in Schools: Sticky Notes Tour

📅 Date: Wednesday 5th November

📍 Venue: St Barnabas Church, Erdington

🕢 Time: 7.30pm – 9.30pm

This will be a fun, inspiring evening bringing together people from across the city who are passionate about helping children and young people encounter God’s presence through prayer and reflection.  This will be a brilliant evening for church and school leaders, children, youth and family workers and volunteers, parents with school age children and anyone interested in helping children and young people in schools experience the presence and peace of God.

Sticky Note Prayers is the new book by Phil Sokell-Miles, International Director of Prayer Spaces in Schools, that tells the story (so far) of a movement that began with one sticky note on a classroom wall… and has since reached over 1 million children and young people in more than 7,000 prayer spaces across at least 35 countries.

Weaving together stories, research, and real-life reflection it offers hope, insight, and practical tools for anyone wanting to create prayerful and reflective spaces for the next generation.

We’d like to invite you to join Phil and friends for an evening that celebrates the astonishing impact of this movement. This event will show you how to get involved in running a prayer space in your local school; from what you need and the support available, to accessing our wealth of resources. Our heart is to help you create space for prayer and reflection so that children and young people can encounter God’s presence.

✨ Special gift: Thanks to a generous donor, everyone who registers to attend will be able to collect a free copy of Sticky Note Prayers at the venue.
