Faith Child is a MOBO and multi-award winning rapper and one of the UK’s top contemporary Christian artists. He will be bringing his eclectic mix of hip hop, electro and pop to Fulfil with thought-provoking lyrics and a powerful Biblical message. Faith Child has done a Fulfil event before but virtually (during lockdown) – this time he will be with us in person!

Kemi Naomi grew up in Birmingham and is a former Fulfil volunteer. She works in the corporate world and is now a singer-songwriter. Kemi has recently released a single, ‘Sacrifice’. She has a heart to inspire and encourage people to live lives of surrender and devotion to Christ and is a passionate communicator of God’s word to young people – she has words of wisdom and truth to share. We are excited to hear her lead us in song at Fulfil and are equally excited to see how her music ministry develops.

Mark Wayt is a good friend of Birmingham City Mission. He is a local tradesman, preacher, missioner and experienced youth worker (having worked with youth for over 20 years). Mark has a great way of engaging youth with God’s word and of connecting using story.

What is Fulfil all about? – YouTube

Fulfil is an interdenominational event for Birmingham (and beyond) churches. It is usually held 3 times a year and attended by around 20 churches of varying denominations. It is an ideal opportunity for young people from different groups and backgrounds to come together to enjoy a fun night out, see the wider Birmingham Kingdom picture, and be encouraged in their faith as they hear and apply the gospel message – which is shared at every event – to their lives.

That’s the aim of the event – to help young people, whether Christian or not, to grow in their understanding of Jesus. We seek to support youth leaders in their outreach and discipleship of young people. The event is also an ideal opportunity for young people to invite along non-Christian friends and to meet young people from other churches.

We have a variety of guests on stage from different backgrounds. We purposefully invite Christian artists of different genres to Fulfil to engage young people with different backgrounds and tastes. We hope that there will be a good blend of types of music, background and gender of contributor over a period of several Fulfil events.

The following Fulfil will be on 28th June 2024. We won’t be having an event in March 2024 but will be gearing up for an exciting event in June – look out for more information over the next few months.
