Footsteps & Witton Lodge Community Association (WLCA) invite you to this gathering exploring local responses to the environmental and energy crises and enjoying each other’s company
This event will be an opportunity to:
- visit the Eco Hub, use the new facilities, and get to know WLCA,
- get practical ideas to reduce your energy use and bills,
- have an enjoyable afternoon and take home at least one action, new idea or connection.
Launched in April 2022, Witton Lakes Eco Hub has seen the transformation of a former park-keepers cottage into a multi-functional eco-friendly community facility. The Hub offers local people an array of services and activities providing support with health and wellbeing, and delivers activities which help tackle wider issues like fuel and food poverty. It also showcases and promotes energy efficiency, and provides advice on how to tackle fuel poverty, cultivate home-produce and pursue outdoor activities.
