Ecumenical Pilgrimage, Monday 28 to Wednesday 30 July 2025

With the support and involvement of senior West Midlands Church leaders, Ecumenical Development Enabler Robert Mountford is organising a three-day ecumenical pilgrimage to mark the important ‘Nicaea 1700’ anniversary. The pilgrimage walk will cover 25 miles over three days. It will begin at Lichfield Cathedral on the morning of Monday 28 July and end at the Serbian Orthodox Church of the Holy Prince Lazar, Bournville, on the afternoon of Wednesday 30 July. Along the way, pilgrims will visit Christian churches and organisations of different traditions in Wall, Little Aston, Streetly, Bannersgate, Perry Common, Erdington, Gravelly Hill, Aston, Central Birmingham, Ladywood, Chad Valley and Selly Oak.
